“Touhou fumo” refers to a series of cloth dolls based on the characters in the "Touhou Project" series of games produced by the Japanese company Gift. The design of the characters in the "Touhou fumo" was done by the doujin club ANGELTYPE (renamed Royalcat after 2017). The design concept is mainly based on the characters in the "Touhou Project", presenting these characters in a cute and more style.

The word "fumo" comes from the Japanese onomatopoeic word "モフモフ" (mofumofu), meaning "soft to the touch" or "fluffy".

Different "Fumo" characters will reflect the characteristics of the corresponding characters in the "Touhou Project" in detail. "Fumo" characters usually have the following characteristics:

1. Diverse characters: Covering many popular characters in the "Touhou Project".
2. Cute appearance: They have a fluffy texture and more style, usually retaining some features of the characters in the "Touhou Project", such as hairstyles and clothing.
3. Iconic expressions: The common expression is represented by (ᗜˬᗜ), giving a unique sense of cuteness.
4. High quality: With relatively high production quality.
5. Different styles: There are ordinary styles (usually about 20 cm tall, sitting position), toy lanyard styles (with lanyards, can be used for keychains, etc.), medium-sized styles (about 40 cm tall), large-sized styles (70 cm tall, expensive), puppet styles (about 40 cm tall), etc.
6. Rich peripheral products: In addition to plush dolls, there may also be other peripheral products such as mouse pads, rubber keychains, acrylic keychains, etc.
